Question...

What does God ultimately seek...above all else?? I know what I think, but I want to know what you think... Above all else, what does He want?

Christiane, I'm so glad you put up one of those thoughts.
I'm not sure yet of my answer, but I'll get back to you.

He wants your love and he wants you to love others.

He wants you. And you, and you and you and you. (One must point their finger around the room of imaginary people as the above is read.)
This is my first time on your blog since you posted about Josh's wedding. How pathetic eh? SO nice to see all the family pictures! especially Pappy on his birthday. :) love you.

Christiane, great question. My first thought was Jesus saying, "The Father seeks people who worship Him in spirit and truth" (John 4:23). However, it got me thinking further that God seeks His worship. Put another way, God seeks His glory because no one or thing can share in His glory (Is. 42:8; 48:11). Glory is His and His alone. So whatever we do, we do all to His glory (1 Cor. 10:31).

Chris. I can't top these. I agree so with them all.
As I read them, this is what I think...
How small are we compared to Him, and how uncomprehendably big is HE yet we are what He desires. all of us. each one. every secret, every breath, every ounce of love that we have in us.

i love you dude. And Jesus.
